Summer STEM Fairs

Over the course of summer 2024, STEMup4Youth hosted STEM fairs at 6 locations and presented various STEM demonstrations, introducing kids to various science concepts such as hydrogen bonding, air vortex physics, and Bernoulli's principle. Children were able to participate in lots of hands-on STEM activities including making chromatography flowers, bouncy balls, color changing invisible ink, and crayon suncatchers. Volunteers from our GEARup4Youth division joined us in several fairs with LEGO Robotics kits. Troy Robotics were part of several events where they helped host stations and demonstrated their robot. Finally, we would like to thank Anaheim Public Library Haskett Branch for their generous $300 donation to our organization and awards to our dedicated volunteers to their library.
